Grade-level classes

Math looks different in grade 3 than it does in grade 7. We group by grade band — 3rd and 4th grade together, 5th and 6th, 7th and 8th — so the material matches where your child actually is.

What we teach, by grade

Grades 3–4

Building strong foundations in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. We focus on understanding why the methods work, not just memorizing steps. Problem-solving and number sense are always part of the lesson.

Grades 5–6

Deepening skills with fractions, decimals, and ratios. Students start working with larger numbers, tackle word problems with more complexity, and build toward the algebra thinking that comes next.

Grades 7–8

Pre-algebra and algebra fundamentals — variables, equations, linear relationships, and working with positive and negative numbers. We make sure students feel ready for high school math.
